I hate how behind I am in posting my outfits. Oh well.
Even though the sun in these pictures makes it look warm, it's really not. And I never dress warm enough. Sometimes I feel like I'd rather be cold in the morning than throw on another jacket to my outfit and ruin the balance.
Lace shirt (used to be a dress): Papaya
Scarf: I knit it myself!
High-waited skinny jeans: Urban Outfitters
Suede boots: alloy.com
I'm finally a second semester senior and yet I still feel stressed. Such is life. I'm working on it, don't worry.
It is a very unusual occurrence for me to wear pants that aren't skinny jeans, but here ya go: one of my few pairs of flare pants. The shirt I'm wearing is actually a dress that I tucked under. My mom and I bought the jacket "to share" which means it lives in her closet but I can borrow it when I want, so this is my first time wearing it.
This is an outfit from more than a week ago. It was the week before finals and I made myself take pictures of all my outfits but I just didn't have time to edit the photos or anything. And then last week I didn't really put time into creating my outfits, which is why I haven't posted in two weeks. So now I'll post 5 five outfits in the next two days, and hopefully get back on track to a post a day (not including weekends).
Jacket: Forever 21
Skinny jeans: JC Penny
Necklace: two keys from an old diary on a leather string
I got these jeans at a really awesome vintage/thrift/local merchants store called Pretty Penny. They are skin tight and not that stretchy, but I love them. And they're one of my only pairs of pants that aren't straight or skinny on the bottom half. Plus they cost less than $30.
I'm also wearing a really cool safety pin (it looks kind of like a light bulb) as a charm on my necklace. The safety pin came attached to some article of clothing my mom got for Christmas and she let me have it.
^^^^ look, it's a ring I made in my 3-D Art class! I'm really proud of it. I'm going to wear it forever and always, even when it doesn't match with my jewelry like in this outfit.
It's been really cold recently, and I finally at least attempted to dress warm enough. Of course I was still freezing anyway.
I need to cut my hair so badly. Even though I'm really busy this weekend finishing college apps and visiting family, I think I might devote some time to chopping a few inches off. I'm not quite sure what to do about my bangs though. I think I want them to grow out a bit.
Black jeggings: the15dollarstore.com (my first pair of actual jeggings! They have fake pockets in front and no zipper)
Cowboy boots: alloy.com
I absolutely love these wedges and I love heels in general, but it's kind of unfortunate that I actually don't like being that tall. It kind of makes me uncomfortable when I'm standing with my friends and I'm the tallest. But It's really not that big of a deal, and I must say, it's a sacrifice I am willing to make.
The earrings I'm wearing I got as a gift from my Grandma who bought them in Costa Rica. They're made out of wood and their really unusual which is why I love them. I also got two bangles that match but my wrists are too thin/ my hands are too small, so I never wear them.
Also, below is a drawing I made of my outfit today. :D
Gray thermal hoodie long sleeve shirt: American Eagle
Green cami: American Eagle
Long black cardigan: 15dollarstore.com
Long green cardigan: 15dollarstore.com
Wedge booties: urbanog.com
I got this sweater and sweater-dress for Christmas from Santa. My mom really doesn't like shopping and she's been busy lately which meant that I ordered most of my presents for myself online. I love the 15dollarstore.com. The best things to get from there are shoes, dresses and sweaters.
Also, I wore red lipstick today! I love it, but sometimes I feel like it's more trouble than it's worth. I eat too often, and my lips get chapped too easily.
Shoes: Converse (I painted them)
This is what I wore on the first day back at school after winter break. It was a very momentous day. I actually was missing school because I love my friends way too much, and also I need structure in my life or I get nothing done.
Long sleeve black jacket: Wet Seal
Sweater: TJ Maxx
Black t-shirt: Pacsun
High-waisted jeans: 15dollarstore.com
Grey booties: 15dollarstore.com
Heart necklace: gift from my grandparents
I made the necklace myself in my 3-D Art class at school. It's a bearded man.The negative space is his face.
Long sleeve sweater: American Eagle
Turtleneck sweater vest: Goodwill
Gray suit jacket: hand-me-down from my cousins
Jeans: JC Penny
Shoes: Converse (I painted them myself)
This is really an awful photo and an awful edit. But I really like my outfit. This was the first time I wore my wedges from urbanog.com. The dress is from 15dollarstore.com, the jacket is from H&M and the scarf was a gift.
